I had plans on starting this blog a few months ago in hopes to keep in contact with family and friends as our life is crazy busy and never seems to slow down anymore.
Safe to say, I didn't have time to post up anything or even tell anyone about the blog - so here it is.
I figured now is a good time to start the blog with our new house project underway.
For those that haven't heard, David and I decided to rip out all of the flooring downstairs except for the entry way and half bath tile. With Buddy's old age and the puppies learning how to be potty trained - the carpet was trashed and despite the constant carpet cleaning, it just wasn't working out - so out it went.
We found a killer deal on brazlian cherry hardwood floors at Marion's Carpet (of all places) and purchased all of the wood they had left, just enough for our job w/ a little left over in case of errors.
The Demo began this weekend, you can read all about it in my next blog. (I didn't want this blog to be too long).
